To start a bright new year of 2017, 11 good looking boys has touch down in Malaysia to celebrate the New year with their fans. Halo and Map6 has come to Malaysia to welcome the New Year.
MAP6 the first group to greet the media and fans in Chinese as they were learning the language to interact with their fans in Malaysia. It was their first time in Malaysia and they were pleased to be here in Malaysia and they were touched by the warm welcome by the their fans "Mapsi". MAP6 sang “Rasa Sayang”, one of the local folk song, for all the media and fans. MAP6 also sang a Chinese song for the lucky fans who won passes to attend the press conference. They are still learning the language and trying their best to please their fans.
They were asked what have they done since their arrival to Malaysia, Minhyuk mentioned that they have been in Malaysia for 2 days and visited Times Square for a greeting session with the fans and had a radio recording with ONFM. Sign said he was very happy to be able to finally meet with the Malaysian fans and said that their fans are beautiful ladies. Sun was very pleased with how the Malaysian fans reacted to their performances.
Map6 were asked if there will be special stages was prepared for the upcoming event, Minhyuk stated that MAP6 has been preparing a special stage for the Malaysian fans and will showcase something new for all the fans and told the fans to look forward to their performances.
Afterward, HALO appeared to greet the medias and fans. They were askes if this their first visit to Malaysia and it is HALO’s first time in Malaysia but Jaeyong stated that he has visited Malaysia before he was with HALO for a vacation with his friends and family unfortunately he wasn’t able to visit Kuala Lumpur, the capital city.
They were asked what would they like to do in Malaysia, Ooon said that he would like to visit Kuala Lumpur, they wanted to see the Twin Tower and take a picture there but so far their schedule would not allow them to do so.
Malaysia is famous for our food and Dino mentioned that when they were doing the recording for the radio ONFM, they were able to try some local food. Dino were struggling to remember the food that they have tried on the day they arrived, at the airport,Ooon said it was yam and all of them said it was very delicious.
The member choose Dino as the person who ate the most inthe group, Dino said that the most food he ate at a time was 3 packet of ramyun with 6 eggs. He also mentioned in the morning he can eat meat with 6 bowls of rice for breakfast. What a big appetite he has there..he will blend in very nicely with Malaysian.
Ooon said their stage has been specially prepared for Malaysian fans and hope that the fans will enjoy the stage and they also stated the Malay language that they have learned. Ooonsays he learns ‘Saya Sayang Kamu’ because of a letter he received from a fan that explain that it means " I Love You".
Map6 were invited back to the room and it is time for a Q&A session with the medias.
MAP6 stated that they had tried satay and it was very delicious and both groups agreed on preferring spicy foods.
When asked on what they do during their free time while in Malaysia,Halo wanted to go shopping, swimming and wanting to visit the night market. MAP6 wanted to visit a lot of places in Malaysia as they heard that there are a lot of beautiful landscapes in Malaysia.
The press conference ended with a group photo of both MAP6 & HALO together with the organisers and sponsors.
