[Coverage] 161230 New Year End Party with Halo and Map6

MAP6 started their performance of "Whistle" making the screams their lung off when they say 5 boys finally standing on the stage . The boys were dressed casually but very smart looking and individually greeted the fans in Mandarin. On stage, MAP6 reveals that they have prepared a special stage for their fans. They are all very excited to be in Malaysia and spend the last few days of 2016 with the Malaysian's fans. 

The Boys began to show their dance move and  the performs their next song titled "Storm". 

The boys mentioned that the special dance performance is particularly made for this event. Since they will began their Japanese and overseas promotion soon, they were studying Mandarin and Japanese diligently. The boys melted the hearts of Malaysian fans by saying "Saya Sayang Kamu!". 

They would love to return to Malaysia as next year MAP6 will be releasing an all new album. They sang "Rasa Sayang" to show their love to their Malaysian fans. 

They began the special stage by performing their Japanese songs titled "Cover With Love" and "Love Story".

Next is the must session in every fanmeeting, its the game session that gives the fans an opportunity to play a game on stage. Each member picked a fan and they would teach the fans a key point to their dance. For MAP6, the winner was J.Vin and his fan. All participating fans were gifted with an autographed poster but winner won a photo with the group and an album as well.

MAP6 ended their stage performances with song titled "Push and Pull" and the upbeat song "Swagger Time". 

The next group that emerged in the dark amidst the screams of the fans is the 6 members of the group HALO. The emerged from the darkness and appeared on stage performing for the first time in they began their stahe by singing "Mariya" bringing the excitement throughout the crowds of fans.

Surprise" is next for a cute live for their fans. HALO then performed "Come On Now", The boys of HALO made the crowd go wild as they said "I'll wait for you" in Mandarin and speaking a couple of Malay phrases. 

They went on and performed the next titled "We, Pure" melting their fans heart even further with their sweet voice.  Following on is their performance of "Nothing On You".

HALO performed "Feel So Good", making their fans feeling so good. They further continued to makes the night ever hotter with "While You're Sleeping" and  HALO ended their performance with their debuted song "Fever".

The game session with HALO and the fans were a success! The same rules apply for HALO's game session and the winner was member Dino and his fan who won a photo with the group and album. All the participating fans were given a signed poster to commemorate their interaction with HALO. 

The event later move on with autographs session with the fans and selfie time with both of the group.

To start a bright new year of 2017, 11 good looking boys has touch down in Malaysia to celebrate the New year with their fans. Halo and Map6 has come to Malaysia to welcome the New Year.

 MAP6 the first group to greet the media and fans in Chinese as they were learning the language to interact with their fans in Malaysia. It was their first time in Malaysia and they were pleased to be here in Malaysia and they were touched by the warm welcome by the their fans "Mapsi".  MAP6 sang “Rasa Sayang”, one of the local folk song, for all the media and fans. MAP6 also sang a Chinese song for the lucky fans who won passes to attend the press conference. They are still learning the language and trying their best to please their fans.

They were asked what have they done since their arrival to Malaysia, Minhyuk mentioned that they have been in Malaysia for 2 days and visited Times Square for a greeting session with the fans and had a radio recording with ONFM. Sign said he was very happy to be able to finally meet with the Malaysian fans and said that their fans are beautiful ladies. Sun was very pleased with how the Malaysian fans reacted to their performances.

Map6 were asked if there will be special stages was prepared for the upcoming event, Minhyuk stated that MAP6 has been preparing a special stage for the Malaysian fans and will showcase something new for all the fans and told the fans to look forward to their performances.

Afterward, HALO appeared to greet the medias and fans. They were askes if this their first visit to Malaysia and it is HALO’s first time in Malaysia but Jaeyong stated that he has visited Malaysia before he was with HALO for a vacation with his friends and family unfortunately he wasn’t able to visit Kuala Lumpur, the capital city.

They were asked what would they like to do in Malaysia, Ooon said that he would like to visit Kuala Lumpur, they wanted to see the Twin Tower and take a picture there but so far their schedule would not allow them to do so.

Malaysia is famous for our food and  Dino mentioned that when they were doing the recording for the radio ONFM, they were able to try some local food. Dino were struggling to remember the food that they have tried on the day they arrived, at the airport,Ooon said it was yam and all of them said it was very delicious.

The member choose Dino as the person who ate the most inthe group,  Dino said that the most food he ate at a time was 3 packet of ramyun with 6 eggs. He also mentioned in the morning he can eat meat with 6 bowls of rice for breakfast. What a big appetite he has there..he will blend in very nicely with Malaysian.

Ooon said their stage has been specially prepared for Malaysian fans and hope that the fans will enjoy the stage and they also stated the Malay language that they have learned. Ooonsays he learns ‘Saya Sayang Kamu’ because of a letter he received from a fan that explain that it means " I Love You".

Map6 were invited back to the room and  it is time for a Q&A session with the medias.

MAP6 stated that they had tried satay and it was very delicious and both groups agreed on preferring spicy foods. 

When asked on what they do during their free time while in Malaysia,Halo wanted to go shopping, swimming and wanting to visit the night market. MAP6 wanted to visit a lot of places in Malaysia as they heard that there are a lot of beautiful landscapes in Malaysia.

The press conference ended with a group photo of both MAP6 & HALO together with the organisers and sponsors.

Ever since the new six-member Korean male Idol group ‘HALO’ made their debut in 2014 ,they have successfully performed in Korean entertainment market, just as their name;‘HALO’, which means the aura of glory ,and the bright light. With being oftenly called as‘a boyfriend-like-group’ on the media, they are well known as being friendly and charming to their fans and beloved by the way. Recently ,they have expanded their stages toward Japan and China to meet more fans outt here, and they are excited to go through the new level of challenges to present them as the icon of KPop, and as the  future world famous singer group.


MAP6 who debu twith ‘Storm’ in November last year as a new K-Pop boygroup cameback with a new song ‘Swagger Time’ since  November 2015. MAP6 published ‘Swagger Time’ in every music websites on 24th May and started performance focusing on TV music programs. MAP6 has also satisfied Japanese fans with various fan events such as signing event and photo event. MAP6 has officially debuting with a Japanese version of 'Swagger Time' at Tower Records in Tokyo.
