enlistment. When was asked about his preparation in acting the movie and also the
similarity between his character, Kwon Yoo and himself, Ji said that like in
his other projects, he didn’t create a new character but he is trying to put
himself in Kwon Yoo’s shoes. What will he do if he is caught up in such
situation? And regarding the similarity of Kwon Yoo and himself, he said that
they are too different. Kwon Yoo fight for the injustice that happened to him
but Ji admits that he will not fight like Kwon Yoo does.
Next he is
asked about the challenging and memorable moments when filming the movie and if
he sustained any injuries while filming, in which he answered that as far as he
can remembers all the scenes are challenging to film from the weather
difference (it was hot and cold), to the emotional scenes as he need to get
into depth of the character that makes him emotionally tired apart from the
action scenes which drained him out physically. Regarding the memorable moments
he said if he needs to pick the most memorable moment during filming it will be
the prison scenes. The prison is pictured as a very scary place in the movie
and doing shooting those scenes he admits that he is tired and scared. He didn’t sustained any major injuries while
filming only minor scratches. To avoid any major accident while performing
action scenes, they did a lot of rehearsal before filming.
The good
looking actor was asked about his impression about Malaysia before came here
and does it change somehow upon his arrival and the heartthrob replied that he
is always curious about Malaysia and he is very surprised with the overwhelming
welcome he received upon his arrival. And if the impression has change or not
he can’t really answer that as he hasn’t got the chance to sightseeing and to
know more about Malaysia. He said maybe one day he can come back for travelling
purpose.
He was then
asked about his next project and what is plan upon his mandatory military
enlistment, he said he will start shoot a new drama when he go back to Korea.
It’s a mystery romantic comedy drama in which it’s his first time trying out
such role. He will be playing a role of a prosecutor turned lawyer and he said
it’ll be fun. He needs to complete the drama before his upcoming enlistment and
if time permits he wants to go for a vacation before enlisting.
Lastly, he
was asked if he prefers to act in action genres or other genres as he is more
prominent in the earlier genre from his previous dramas such as Healer, The K2
and Fabricated City. The 30 year old said that he likes doing action but he
wants to avoid doing that for a while and to try other things as doing actions
is physically challenging though it is good. He also wants to try to adapt to
different type of role.
Wrapping up

inviting him to the launching event in which he can greet the fans and public
personally. He is really happy and he promised to work harder in future to give
